Blessed Path

Blessed Path

We see what is before our eyes.
We live the here and now.
We want to follow out God’s plan,
But don’t see where or how.
We try to walk this world by faith,
Not trusting in our eyes,
But only trusting God to lead
Until we reach the prize.
His Word gives us direction and
Such comfort as we go.
We meditate on all His laws,
So right and wrong, we know.
The path we tread in this vast world
(This place that’s not our home),
Must always be lit by His Word
No matter where we roam.
On highest mountain,  valley deep,
Or rugged wilderness,
If we will follow where He leads,
Our heart, He’ll surely bless.

Feel free to print, share or repost anything on this blog. I do ask that you let me know if you use one of my poems on your blog or at your church somehow. It might give me an idea of better ways to spread His words, which I am always looking to do. And of course, always keep the copyright symbol and my name with the poem so I continue to have the right to use them. You may not realize that if something is posted enough times without the copyright notice, I could lose the copyright and then someone else could conceivably file for a copyright and I would no longer be able to use my own poems! It has happened, so please make sure the (c) is always on the poem whenever you repost. Thanks!

God bless,
Denise McKenney

He does bless those who seek Him. I am really working to seek Him more in my life every day no matter what. And He is blessing me with poems again.

There is comfort in your words. We have to sometimes looks for His blessings. They aren’t always obvious. 😉
