Dear Mom

Dear Mom

May 13, 2018
Mother’s Day

I miss you on this Mother’s Day
Like many times before.
It still does not seem possible
That you are here no more.
I miss your smile; I miss your laugh;
I miss so many things.
I just can’t seem to get used to
The pain that this day brings.
I know you wouldn’t want me sad
And so, I try to smile.
I love the mem’ries and I know
I’ll see you in a while.
Be happy there with Jesus and
Write psalms and have some fun.
I’ll try to dry my tears and say,
“My Lord, Thy will be done.”
