I lost a very good friend this week. Here’s my way of honoring him.

Chuck Guire

Chuck was a friend to all he met.
He always wore a smile.
He never was too busy to
Just sit and chat a while.
He cared so much for others and
I know he loved the Lord.
He let his fam’ly (and his cats)
Know they were all adored.
His challenges were many, but
Complaints were very few.
With wit and puns and jokes and such,
He’d get a smile from you.
He was a very humble man;
His value, he’d deny.
But he gave of himself so much
His passing made me cry.
I know we’ll see his face again
When we’re called with the Son.
Until then, like Chuck, I will say,
“My Lord, Thy will be done.”
